Our members cultivate and process a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, including raspberries, sour cherries, blackberries, plums, strawberries, apricots, highbush blueberries, apples, peppers, and tomatoes.
Wild fruit and plants
The wild fruit and plants processed by our members include wild blackberries, wild blueberries, wild strawberries, mushrooms (such as chanterelles and ceps), rose hips, sloes, Cornelian cherries, and elderberry flowers.
Product categories
Our members supply a wide variety of products that can be adjusted to suit clients’ needs. The categories include deep-frozen fruit and vegetables, fresh chilled fruit and vegetables, dried fruit, fruit purees, fruit mixes, pasteurised products, fruit juice concentrates, fruit puree concentrates, marmalades for the food industry, jams, natural aromas, extracts, and syrups.
Processes, standards, and quality control
Processing
To make their products, our members employ a range of processes that include cooling, freezing, drying (convective drying and freeze-drying), sterilisation using antiseptic agents, pasteurisation, and sterilisation (using heat, filtration, etc.).
Compliance with stringent standards
Our members comply with the leading quality standards for food production, including GlobalG.A.P., BRC, IFS, HACCP, Organik (Serbian Organic Production Law), EOS & NOP Organic Standards, BioSuisse Organic Certificate, Kosher Certified, and KRAV Checklist. These companies also follow leading quality management standards, including ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, SMETA Sedex Social Responsibility Programme, and BSCI, to ensure consistency in their business practices, environmental sustainability, and worker welfare.
