Hibrid was founded in 1953 as the Association for the Improvement of Maize and Cereal Production for all of the former Yugoslavia. Our professional and business successes and the wealth of experience we have gained in producing and marketing high-quality maize hybrid seeds at home and abroad have made Hibrid the recognisable brand of today.

The unique climate, soil, and landscape of Western Serbia give this region’s berries, especially raspberries, a distinct texture, colour, and taste that make them unmistakable the world over. This is the produce we offer in our Hibrid Frigo range. Wishing to preserve the unique qualities of the area’s fruit, HIBRID has built two flash and deep-freezing facilities at the heart of the most fertile district that also offers the best quality produce, at Gornja Dobrinja and Makovište.

We purchase, freeze, process, and package fruit (raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants, plums, blueberries, and mixed fruits) for marketing under our own brand or for our clients.
